GMD Consultants is a planning and environmental consultancy based in Hamilton with clients throughout the North Island. Our clients are predominately central and local government, iwi organisations and regional growth alliances, and as a result, our workload is varied through the full spectrum of planning activities in New Zealand. We lead interesting and significant work such as growth strategies, district and regional plan reviews, engagement processes, water management, iwi representation, corporate planning, bylaw development, reserve management planning, business cases and processing resource consents.

Whilst GMD is based in Hamilton, we are proud of the flexible working environment we have had in place since the formation of our consultancy. We currently have team members in multiple locations, including Wellington and Auckland, and many of our team members work part time hours to balance family life and their personal interests whilst delivering high quality work.
